Controlled demolition uses a combination of techniques including diamond wire sawing, track and floor sawing as well as remote controlled robotic machines.  They are used to crunch and break the severed material and are controlled by an operator, who remains protected due to our rigorous health and safety procedures. The machines can go up and downstairs and the smaller models can even fit through a single doorway.  They are powered by a 415 volt 3-phase generator so can be used internally as well as externally. This technique is widely used where specific areas needed to be removed, thus protecting the surrounding areas.
