AUTOMATED ROCK DRILLING

We use air-powered drilling rigs with a vibrating hammer action to drill holes through rock and masonry. These machines can drill holes of up to 50 mm in diameter and up to 305 mm in depth within one minute. This technique is widely used for drilling dowel bars, installing anchor holes and drilling into concrete prior to bursting.

Because the rig is frame-mounted, the operator is not exposed to vibration or the dangers of white finger and R.S.I. This increases working times and enhances productivity.
